Core Operating Principle

This is a fiber optic probe wrapped with a metal flexible tube, serving as the “front-end probe” of fiber optic sensors, used with fiber optic amplifiers for detection. The fiber inside the probe is connected to the fiber optic amplifier at one end, while the other end points to the detection area. The light signal emitted by the amplifier is transmitted through the fiber to the probe end. After the probe contacts the target object, the reflected/transmitted light returns along the fiber to the amplifier, completing the detection process.
